Fred was born in Provo, a small town in Utah, and grew up loving the proximity to the mountains and open spaces. This early experience eventually triggered the desire to settle his family in Colorado.
He lived in the south part of England for two years doing service work for his church. This extended time serving others taught him the joy that comes from worthwhile service and has shaped his career aspirations even to this day.
While serving in the US Air Force in Denver CO, Izmir Turkey, Ramstein Germany, and Minot ND, he studied electronics and maintained nuclear weapons. During this period of his life, Fred learned the discipline required for successful focus essential to business success.
Fred studied Public Relations at Brigham Young University and received his Bachelor’s Degree. As an undergraduate, he worked as a contractor building residential homes and small commercial buildings. The knowledge and skills learned during this period still assist him when counseling clients about the homes they are considering buying or selling.
He later studied Business Management at the University of Colorado where he received his master’s degree.
Additional work experience included more than twenty years with Hewlett Packard selling medical electronics and outsourcing services. He also ran his own company for seven years selling specialty products to plastic surgeons.
Working these past years in real estate has been an opportunity to use all the skills learned earlier to help buyers and sellers make great housing decisions with confidence and a minimum of stress.
Fred and his wife Patty have eleven children and currently thirty-five grandchildren. They live happily in Englewood, CO.
